Trevarno, located in a valley approximately 2 miles from Helston, dating back to 1246. Owned by many notable familes over the centuries it was purchased from the Bickford-Smith family, creators of the Miner's Safety Fuse, in 1994.
Open to the public on a daily basis since 1998, this wonderfully tranquil 35 acre Victorian garden is a veritable treasure of interesting features for all to enjoy, including a Serpentine Yew Tunnel, Lake, Victorian Boathouse, extended Estate Walk and Adventure Play Area.
Enhanced by the National Museum of Gardening there is also a shop and Fountain Garden Conservatory Tea Room.
