Due to popular demand Falmouth's Aquacab water-taxi service has been re-introduced by Peter Chesworth and Brian Kneebone of Mylor Boat Hire. The 'on-demand' service works just like a regular taxi service- just give them a call, arrange pick-up and drop-off points and the powerful, 12 seater, covered boat will take you to almost any waterside location on the Fal. Running daily from May to October, 10am till late, its quick, easy and you are always guaranteed the scenic route!

The introduction of the Aquacab service will open up a whole new set of opportunities for locals and visitors alike. Along with the normal 'A to B' trips, the Aquacab can arrange to take a party to a waterside pub or restaurant for a leisurely lunch, or drop walkers off on a stretch of coastal footpath, to be collected later at a pre-arranged spot, wedding parties can arrive in style at waterside venues- in fact any group of up to 12 passengers can tailor-make their own day out and enjoy the luxury of going where they want, when they want.

In addition the Aquacab will also provide a regular shuttle service between Mylor and Custom House Quay in Falmouth which will run 3 times everyday throughout the summer months.

Asked why they have re-introduced this service Peter Chesworth said 'Since we started running Mylor Boat Hire we've had lots of enquiries about the Aquacab water taxi which ran here a couple of summers ago, and we could see that there was a healthy demand for the service. We are delighted tha Aquacab is part of Fal River Links which provides such a comprehensive network of transport services in and around the Fal'.

The Aquacab shuttle runs from Mylor Yacht Harbour to Falmouth daily at 11am, 3pm and 5pm and from Falmouth (Custom House Quay) to Mylor at 11.30am, 3.30pm, and 5.30pm
