Roundhouse Barns win Green Tourism Awards
Roundhouse Barn Holidays received Silver Awards from the Green Tourism Business Scheme for both its Self Catering Cottages and its Bed & Breakfast accommodation.
"We're simply overwhelmed" said Barbara Sadler. "We've invested a lot to lessen the impact that our business has on the environment - and to receive a Silver Award is simply fantastic".
Mark Sadler added "It's bizarre really. We were at a meeting this afternoon to celebrate the 6th Birthday of CoaST - the Cornwall Sustainable Tourism Project. We were thanking the CoaST team for the advice they had given us to help us become a greener business. We were saying that we hadn't heard whether our efforts would gain us recognition - and hey presto, we arrive home and the awards are sitting in our inbox!"
The two Green Tourism awards follow on from the Gold Awards that Roundhouse Barn Holidays won for its Self Catering Cottages in April 2009 and the Silver Award that it won for its B&B accommodation in July 2008.
Roundhouse Barns still has limited vacancies in August for its Self Catering cottages.
