What is it?

The Fal Mussel Visitor Card gives you unlimited hop-on hop-off travel on the award-winning network of classic ferries, rural bus services and trains that connect the many places to visit around the river.

The Fal Mussel Visitor Card makes travel between Truro, Falmouth, the Roseland and the Helford easy, affordable and fun...and it’s all car-free!

Its perfect for families or couples on holiday and includes unlimited travel by ferry, train or bus for as little as £6.40 a day if you buy a six day card. It’s the perfect travel companion for enjoying our wonderful days out around the river.

It even includes free parking at Falmouth Park and Float when you buy a 1 day card.

The Fal Mussel Visitor Card can save you huge amounts of money and takes the hassle out of getting about the Fal River on your visit to Cornwall. Did we mention how much fun it is?

Where can I use it?

It can be used on more than 20 different services that link the Fal River. These are:

Ferries :: St Mawes Ferry, King Harry Ferry, Place Ferry, Enterprise Boats, Helford Ferry, Falmouth Water Taxi, Falmouth Park & Float/Ride, Great Western River Boats, Flushing Ferry & Smugglers Ferry.

Buses :: 500, 550/551, 88, 35, 83/84, Falmouth Town Shuttle, Corlink Carnon Vale, 493

Trains :: Maritime Branch Line (Truro - Falmouth)

How much does it cost?

Fal Mussel Visitor Cards can be bought as one day, two day, three day and six day cards. We sell adult, child and family (two adults and three children) cards.

Free parking at the Falmouth Park & Float/Ride is included within the price of a 1 day card.

A six day adult card costs £38 giving you unlimited travel for just £6.40 a day, less than the price of a return journey on the King Harry Ferry or the St Mawes Ferry.

Where can I buy my card?

You can buy your Fal Mussel Visitor Card online, at the Fal River Visitor Information Centre, Truro Tourist Information Centre, St Mawes Ticket Office and Falmouth Park & Float (one day cards only).

What else do I get?

Mussel Card holders can take advantage of a range of great offers including discounts at attractions, castles, shops, cafes and gardens. All Mussel Cards are also valid as a Discount Shopper card in Falmouth.

If you wish, you can specify the date when your Mussel Card will start.

You will then be able to print out a paper ticket, which can be used on two of our services, to allow you travelone of our ticket offices and collect your Mussel Card.

Alternatively, you can redeem you tickets within 12 months of purchase.

Note: Mussel Cards are valid from 2012-04-01 until 2012-11-05.
