Join Orca Sea Safaris for a peaceful two-hour estuary trip, departing from Falmouth, heading into the Carrick roads, then either meandering along the River Fal, or heading out into Falmouth bay and along the beautiful Helford River.Both estuaries are classed as areas of outstanding natural beauty, and include special conservation areas and areas of special scientific interest. So as you can see...... they are pretty special places!!
Your journey will transport you from rugged cliffs, sandy and rocky shores into a magical place of ancient oak woodland meandering right to the shoreline, parting in areas to reveal hidden creeks and sheltered valleys. This diverse area offers habitats for many species, including wintering waders, ducks, kingfishers, seals and land mammals such as deer and otter. We have even seen dolphins!
This also is an ideal trip for anyone interested in photography.
We will provide you with warm outer clothing and safety equipment, a snack and a drink as well as full commentary and a friendly welcome.
