Approx 30-40 Common dolphins 200metres off the Manacles marker bouy. They were chasing the boat and exhibiting playful behaviour including leaping from the water

Approx 50 Common dolphins 0.5 mile due East of Porthoustock. Lots of activity with Gannets diving and fish jumping

Two separate sightings of Porpoise. 2 Harbour Porpoise seen in the middle of Gerrans Bay and then an individual harobour porpoise spotted approx 5 miles south of St Anthonys lighthouse.

8 Basking sharks seen between Pothbeor Beach and Nare head, mainly in pairs. They were mostly large sharks 20-30 foot.

7+ basking Sharks seen in the area from Porthbear beach towards Dodman point. We stopped to observe 7 but there were others around that we just did not have time to stop to see them all!

16 foot basking shark between Portloe and Portholland approx 250m offshore, also smaller juvenile Basking Shark 300m off Porthbear beach with a much larger 30 foot Shark 350-400m off Porthbear. Another Basking shark also spotted in the distance off Nare head.

8-9 Bottlenose dolphins just inside Dodman Point moving at aound 4-5 knots. One of them had a white patch on the front of its dorsal fin, so probably the same group as those seen in Falmouth a few days before.

3 Harbour porpoise 200 metres off Black head and then another 2 seen between Coverack hotel and Black head. These appeared just off the boat. Also lots of guillemots and a few Gannets seen

3 Porpoise seen 1.5 mile SW of Dodman Point, taking a breath at the surface. They then dissappeared. A puffin was spotted shrtly after in the same vicinity.
