Fal River Festival 09 Dates Announced
And organisers are holding a three hour workshop at the Greenbank Hotel on December 10th from 3 till 6.
The festival, which will be in its fourth year, will run from May 23rd to
30th and will encompass over 130 events ranging from music and drama, the arts and heritage to rowing races, triathlons and walks.
One of the organiser Toby Budd from King Harry¹s Cornwall said: ³The nine-day festival is a celebration of life on the River Fal - a chance to really embrace the places, people, history and culture that are connected by this very Cornish river. With its diverse mix of culture, music, arts, food, literature, drama, industry, events, gardens, sports and history the festival offers something for everyone and we want to make next year¹s one to remember.²
Toby added ''We really want to put the festival on the map this year and have had a fantastic response from people who want to put on and register events in the festival. We are also working on some exciting headline events which we will be announcing soon. If you would like to get involved in the festival or put on an event then please get in touch''
